Synopsis
“Vein Hex” is a psychological horror short film with dark fantasy elements, exploring addiction, fractured motherhood, and the violent struggle for self-forgiveness. Dayra, a recovering addict haunted by the loss of her son, performs a ritual to sever her past—only to awaken a monstrous doppelgänger: a decaying, drug-fueled witch embodying her guilt. As the entity hunts her through visions of her child (a ghostly figure offering blood-stained pills), Dayra’s battle becomes a surreal exorcism. In a fire-and-water climax, she burns the witch alive—but is she destroying her addiction, or the last shreds of her own humanity?
