Tomorrow Isn’t Promised

Synopsis
A modern-day telling of the book of Ruth, but with the focus mostly on Naomi.
Facing losing their farm to the long drought in Montana, Naomi’s husband Eli, applies to get a grant from the University Ben Gurion University in Israel. He wants to learn all he can about their irrigation discoveries and bring that training home to save his farm and hopefully their friend’s farms.
Eli and their two sons don’t make it home. They lose their lives on October 7th helping others.
Naomi had it all, a husband two sons, and eventually two daughter-in-laws. But then suddenly she lost all, except her daughter-in-law Ruth.
In the depth of her loss and grief, Naomi struggles with her faith.
Naomi comes to the realization that she doesn’t want to be defined by what has happened to her, but would rather be shaped by the Word of God.
Naomi finds her faith, even when it looks as if God himself has abandoned her.
