Katinka’s dementia results from a recent stroke, and her granddaughter Julia is gathering memories of their time together. They share everyday moments like eating dinner and watching TV. Julia’s text about their family’s Jewish identity prompts Katinka to read it and it seems to bring them closer, despite the distance created by her dementia.
