Synopsis
“Unique among nations, we draw our people, our strength from every country and every corner of the world. By drawing people from every corner of the world, we continuously renew and enrich our nation. We’re a nation forever young, forever bursting with energy and new ideas, and always on the cutting edge, always leading the world to the next future.” – Farewell address by President Ronald Reagan
Texas Rhapsody is a powerful, inspiring film set in the oil fields and open skies of West Texas. Inspired by three real stories, it follows the lives shaped by immigration, hard work and hope – where music becomes the language that connects us all. Written and produced by Sam Pfiester (Buttercup Productions) and directed by Taylor Stanley (Forest & Pine), the film brings together extraordinary performances by non-actors playing themselves (a few with slightly changed names), stunning Texas landscapes, and an unflinching look at humanity.
