Synopsis
From the city, Mr. Enam came to the Talukdar’s house in Munshiganj to visit the village with his wife Rekha and their marriageable daughter Mau and her future husband Nabil, an American expatriate. Kadam, the manager of the Talukdar’s house, Bocha’s mother, the cook, and Jobeda Khanam, a distant relative of the Talukdar, and his late brother’s son, Shuvo, are assigned to look after them.
Mau comes to visit and discovers that Shubo is completely different among the people who take care of them in this house! The well-educated BA pass and city job offers back, love the village people, stay in the village, do tuition here and earn money and spend it for the benefit of the village people. Also Shubo’s cultural mind, love for Rabindranath, which attracts Mau’s mind more, Mau realizes that her love for Shubo is much greater than her future groom. Shuvo’s personality, love for nature makes Mau more attracted to Shuvo.
