Synopsis
Polyrhythmic is the story of Ameen Mokdad, the 27-year-old Iraqi musician and composer, living during the occupation of the city of Mosul in northern Iraq in 2014 by the terrorist group known as ISIS. Ameen on his phone was documenting his life while trying to survive his music, his freedom, and his soul when the punishment for doing music was worse than death. Then he gets an unexpected visit during a bright July night… leaving him with a big, lethal challenge.
