Synopsis
Warrant officer Eino Ilmari ”Illu” Juutilainen was the most successful fighter pilot of the Finnish Air Force in World War II. He achieved a total of 94 air victories, which is the second-highest tally of the entire war for a non-German pilot.
Double Mannerheim Cross recipient Ilmari Juutilainen was also the father of three little boys and a husband to Anni. The 36-minute documentary MY FATHER ILLU – MY MOTHER ANNI focuses on the family life of the war hero during and after the war. The documentary is narrated by the middle one of the boys, Olavi Juutilainen.
