In Faith We Dream

Synopsis
A young filmmaker who once resisted incense-burning rituals embarks on a journey to seek spiritual answers through the making of a documentary. From childhood doubts and adolescent confusion to encounters with a roadside egg roll vendor near Zinan Temple, the youth group of Dongshan Mazu in Yuanlin, and the half-built Qinan Temple in Taoyuan, he uses his camera to trace how faith quietly begins to respond to his inner questions.
This documentary connects deities and humanity, capturing how people, amid a changing era, find the courage to overcome challenges and pursue their dreams. A deeply personal and soul-touching film for the post-pandemic world.
