Earth homes…

Synopsis
The horror that persisted during Australia’s ‘Black Summer’ affected countless people, animals, and livelihoods. One particular person was Jillian. Through devastating circumstances, she lost her home of 20 years to extreme heat and firestorms that ripped through her land.
Jillian stayed resilient, and although experienced huge loss, both sentimental and economical, remains hopeful. Working closely with an innovative architect, Jillian is rebuilding, to be ‘underground with the wombats’.
The hope is that this new design will be bushfire proof for years to come, restoring hope for a community that has lost so much.
