Synopsis
The story revolves around Ye-eun and her brother In-jun, as well as their family’s poverty, In-jun’s gambling problems, and Ye-eun’s courage and determination. The director tries to express the theme and feelings of the story through the following points. Family and responsibility: Ye-eun makes the effort and sacrifice that she has set to help her brother and family. She decides to pay off her debt, leave far for her mother’s promise, and leave everything and find a new life. Family love and complicated relationship: In-jun’s gambling problems complicate their relationship. Ye-eun felt surprised and disappointed by In-jun, but she still had a family love that reached out to him, and she showed the conflict and promise of her family with the complex feelings of wanting to support him.
