Synopsis
Blanche is a heartwarming, humorous story about old friendships and new beginnings. A lonely west Texas rancher has disengaged from life after a loss until an old compadre masterminds a crazy bet on a chicken named Blanche, proving there are second chances at life and love. This captivating tale was inspired by true events and features a cast of real-life West Texans making their acting debut in Blanche.

Twila LaBar is a filmmaker, director, songwriter, and musician. LaBar made her narrative film directorial debut in the independent film, “Blanche,” filmed on location in Marfa, Alpine, and Fort Davis, Texas.
LaBar is an award-winning songwriter. Her extensive background in songwriting, music production, and storytelling made transitioning into filmmaking a natural next step. LaBar composed music and songs for the “Blanche” film soundtrack.
