Synopsis
Adaupa——The name of the female protagonist. This is a documentary about an ordinary, self reliant, wild and spontaneous Yi girl that I left Shanghai in May June last year and went to the mountains of Yunnan to film.
Her name is Adaupa, a portrait photographer of ethnic minorities, with a motorcycle, a camera, and fluent dialect. She traveled throughout southwestern China and even border areas, recording the oldest clothes and most beautiful faces. At the age of 16, she walked out of the mountains and now back to the mountains. She said that extinction is not true death, forgetting is.
Adaupashi went from being an ordinary restaurant front desk waiter to picking up a camera to shoot minority photographers, and I saw a beautiful wild flower.
