Synopsis
In 2050, Rose Harland is one of humanity’s last survivors. Twenty-five years earlier, her groundbreaking deep-space probe made contact with an alien race, only for that message to invite annihilation. Wracked with guilt over the billions lost, Rose builds a crude time device to stop the catastrophe at its source.
Her journey takes her to 2025, on the night of her younger self’s engagement. Disguised and battle-worn, she confronts the woman she once was, desperate to convince her to cancel the launch. But the younger Rose refuses, unwilling to risk rewriting history and creating an even worse future.
