Synopsis
The island Åstol is located on the west cost of Sweden and near Pater Noster lighthouse, where the island rises like an Atlantis out of the sea with its white houses climbing tightly, as if the inhabitants were on their way somewhere. But to know where to go, we should know where we have been, so let’s meet some islanders who have been there, before the voices is gone…
A short feel-good film where Janne Josefsson and filmmaker Jonas Myrstrand meet older islanders who talk about the life then & now, which was a different Sweden to remember.
