Synopsis
“Project S” tells the story of the creation of a great work of design and the enormous impact this can have on people.
Project S was the name Citroën used when they secretly worked on a supercar, the SM. A fast, comfortable gran-Turismo automobile with a unique look and technology.
Philosopher, poet, and artist Robert Opron was the chief designer and reflects in our film on the creation of the SM and the power of good design.
Comedian Jay Leno is among many people impacted by the SM and talks in great depth about his love for the SM and the role of cars in his life.
Historical archive footage of illustrious drivers such as Johan Cruijff illustrates the role of the SM in media and popular culture.
