Synopsis
Perceived Reality is a diptych exploring the construction of identity. A film about how we see ourselves and how we want to be seen by others, about daring to let go of your self-image in order to move on.
The first half is about a young woman who, in search of appreciation and validation, loses herself in the image she creates in the world of social media. In the other half, a man travels back to his childhood in 1999 Tbilisi, Georgia, discovering familiar places but also hidden memories…
